David // 2nd Year // Chemistry

It’s hard for me to pinpoint a moment at which I became a Christian. Having been brought up by Christian parents I had always accepted what I was told as true - that the Jesus described to me was real and alive - that he loved me.
Before I ever came up against real opposition to this idea, I was utterly convinced - beyond really any doubt in my head - that Jesus really is all that he claimed to be, and he really does love me.

It wasn’t just that I accepted unquestioningly what I was told by my parents or anyone else but that I had encountered the living God for myself. I believe I’ve seen physical miracles but more than that - I’ve experienced the very presence of God and there’s nothing like it - the waves of peace and joy that only come from knowing that I am immeasurably and completely loved.

There was no single moment that I gave my life to follow this Jesus but there has been a journey - a relationship with him- of discovering more and more how amazing he is and in response surrendering to him more and more."
