To me, real trust is trusting God completely in all circumstances. As students, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and forget that God has a plan our lives. When things don't go according to our plans, God has a reason, and his plans for us are so much better than our own. Its not easy to surrender control of your life to God but it is so worth it for the freedom that comes from fully trusting in him.

In Psalm 13:5 the writer says 'I trust in your unfailing love, my heart rejoices in your salvation.' This verse, and many other Pslams, are great reminders that God's love never fails us and he will never leave us if we put our trust in him.
