Joshua
Joshua // 3rd Year // Economics
Being raised in a Christian home, God was a running theme in my life. More so I would read or go to Church because of my parents. As I grew up I started to become quite distant to God and wandered on my own path.
Even though I learnt about God growing up, I still felt like I didn’t know him. This changed when I gave my life to Christ and was baptised; which was a decision I will never regret. The more I started to seek him, the more I realized that He is a loving father that wants to reconcile a relationship with us all, and has chosen to do so through his son out of love.
My journey of faith, hasn’t been smooth sailing, there has been highs and lows, but just like any other relationship, trust is essential. Through trust, God has proven to show that His love never fails despite my flaws. For in trust, through faith in him, he has opened avenues of love, hope, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithful, gentleness and self-control in me and to me that I would have never expected.
