JOSIE// FIRST YEAR// PSYCHOLOGY AND NEUROSCIENCE

For me freedom really relates to my freedom from condemnation. Although I grew up in a Christian family and knew Jesus was willing to save me I struggled to believe this. I spent years living in fear that I wasn’t good enough for heaven and that I would spend eternity without Jesus. I had no assurance that Jesus had or would save me.
Freedom from this fear was something I desperately wanted and eventually through Gods mercy for me found. My faith that Jesus really meant it when he said that his death can save me is what sets me free from sin, condemnation and the fear of an eternity without Christ. It’s such a freeing feeling knowing I am not responsible for my own salvation but that it is wholly down to Jesus’s death on the cross.
