I love logic. Things that makes sense. I like to consider things carefully before I make a decision. It’s just the way my brain operates. It’s this kind of thinking that drives my love of accounting.

I was brought up in a Christian home and it was this thinking that also made me realise that Jesus didn’t make sense to me, the bible was confusing, and God seemed very very far away. Luckily, I also love asking questions and every week I’d go to bible study with 2/3 questions either about the passage or about God/life in general that didn’t make sense to me.

I couldn’t tell you when the penny dropped, because it wasn’t like that. It was a very slow, thought through process over years of asking questions and gaining the answers until all my big questions had been resolved. But I can honestly say that I now have complete confidence in the existence of God and no doubt that I am saved through Jesus.
I find it funny when my friends are embarrassed to ask me questions or are apologetic for not instantly agreeing with me, because they have no idea what a headache I was for years at home. I love it when people ask me questions, because I know what it feels like to have them and to be curious of the answer.

I hope others take the time to see what the bible says. I found Jesus and the bible to be logical, faithful and trustworthy, and undoubtedly worth the time of investigating.
